“ Seafood Palace, Bi Feng Tang in Chinese, is an established restaurant chain that originated in China and is known for specialty seafood dishes. It's a Cantonese seafood restaurant with Chiu Chow/Southeast Asian influences. Nice and clean traditional Chinese restaurant atmosphere with some dishes shown in big colorful photos surrounding the dining room on the walls. This is one of our family's gathering spots in SGV. Food was authentic and traditional. Servers were efficient and attentive to our needs. This place has many unique dishes that's hard to be found elsewhere. Dishes were flavorful and well prepared. A must order dish every time we're here is their signature house special crab with a lot of fried minced garlic. It's fresh and sweet with just the right amount of flavor. The choices for dining in SGV seem endless and we have always enjoyed Seafood Palace where you can get a great taste of Cantonese/Chiu Chow cuisine. ”
“ Food is still quality though not as good as it once was pre-pandemic. One of the few places around service Chiu Chow style Chinese cuisine. It has the same flavor as before but something feels lacking especially with portion sizing. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean but it's hard to tell if a lot of that is because it was so empty inside. I remember when it used to be bustling even on weekday lunches but there were maybe 3-4 tables seated. Could be the price hikes like everything else these days. They now charge for rice per bowl which sucks. ”
“ House Special Crab. Fried with a ton of garlic, bring a few people to help you. That's really all I want to say, House Special Crab - just do it. Other dishes I enjoyed were Pea Shoots and Bean Curb with Mushrooms. But don't sleep on the crab! ”
“ A traditional Chinese seafood restaurant at its best! If you're looking for a delicious seafood restaurant with reasonable prices, this is the place to go! They have two nice private dining rooms with contemporary artwork that you can reserve. Perfect for graduation dinners and other celebrations. I recommend the shrimp and scallops. ”
“ I have been coming to this restaurant for years, and although the prices have risen, the quality has stayed the same. It is usually very busy inside but the servers do a great job at seating you quickly. If you come with a larger group of people, then the wait times can get pretty long around dinner time. However, you could always order the food to-go, which is what I typically do. The inside of the restaurant is very welcoming and spacious. It is structured like a typical Chinese restaurant, with a lot of indoor seating and larger tables available for bigger parties. It has also been recently remodeled, and looks much better than it did a few years ago. The house special garlic crab is my favorite dish to get. I typically order around 2 pounds of it with my family, and it's just the right amount for three people. It's extremely flavorful and is fried to perfection. It tastes great on its own, but can also be eaten with rice to make it more filling. The crab is also very easy to peel and sometimes I don't even need to use tools when eating it. Another one of my go-to dishes would be the pan-fried string beans. They're a bit salty by themselves, but are great with rice. It also comes in a large enough serving to share with the whole family. Overall, I really enjoy the food and service here. I will most likely continue coming here, despite the prices going up. This is a great traditional Chinese restaurant to try, especially if you enjoy seafood like I do. ”
“ Parking in the back. I ordered to go. Their house special garlic crab is a must. Really good. All their dishes are very good, kinda pricy for dinner but worth it. French style beef Walnut shrimp Fish maw soup Green bean ( was kinda old) Service was quick and easy. Dinner time was busy. Their crab is a must try. ”
“ I was craving crispy chow mein and decided to stray from my usual go-to restaurants. I remember the food here being good, and I haven't been here in years. I wasn't sure what to expect; seeing the pandemic might have impacted the quality. Food: Beef chow mein - This was the best crispy chow mein I've had in a long long time. The sauce was well-flavored. The noodles were not soaked in oil, and the overall dish did not taste greasy. This was the first time I can remember having this dish, not greasy! I didn't feel sluggish after eating the whole thing! My only complaint is that the vegetables were cooked a little more than I'd like. Service: The guy who took my order sounded very friendly. When I arrived, he knew my order and was again very friendly. Environment: They remodeled here. I don't recall it looking so clean and nice. It looks more upscale (in a traditional sense) than most Chinese restaurants. Price: They have plenty of lunch specials! With their quality, the lunch specials are a steal! I'd like to come back for dinner sometime. Food: 5 Service: 5 Environment: 5 Price: 5 ”
